Ifor Glyn, Executive Director of Swansea Carers Centre outlines in the video below the safety measures we have put in place at the Carers Centre.
“As we welcome carers and staff back to the Carers Centre we wanted to give an update on what we have been doing to ensure that the Carers Centre is as safe as possible; on changes you might expect to see and our ‘roadmap’ out of lockdown.'” said Ifor “Your health, wellbeing and safety are of paramount importance to us, so we’ve implemented a number of changes in our building to ensure your peace of mind.”
What to expect:
May 17th – Appointments only. 1- 1 appointments can be made with the welfare benefit team and the Counselling team. There can be no ‘walk-ins.’ Please arrive in time for your appointment. A member of staff will meet you at the door to the Centre.
1- 1 meetings outside with carers can resume.
May 31st – Small groups can meet outdoors
June – small groups can meet in the Cwtsh
Hand sanitisers will be available throughout the Centre
Screens have been erected on each staff work station
You will be required to wear a mask in the Centre unless seated behind a screen (optional if you want to remain wearing a mask). If you are exempt from wearing a mask you must tell us when making your appointment.
Air purifiers have been installed in every office including The Cwtsh
Social distancing remains 2 metres apart where possible
We are limiting 2 visitors at a time in the Reception area.
