Support groups offer carers and former carers the opportunity to meet with other carers.  Meeting regularly with other carers for mutual support and to share experiences can have a positive effect on the carer’s well-being and feelings of isolation.  All our support groups are held in an informal and friendly setting.

Book Club

Date: 1st Wednesday of the month   Time: 2pm

Venue: The Cwtsh, Mansel Street, Swansea

This group is open to all carers and former carers.  It’s informal and fun.

Mental Health Carers Group

Date: 2nd Tuesday of the month    Time: 6pm – 8pm

Venue: The Cwtsh, Mansel Street, Swansea

This group is open to people who are carers or former carers of someone with a mental health problem.

Parent Carer Coffee Mornings

1st Tuesday of the month  10am-2pm – Parent Carers of Adult Children

2nd Tuesday of the month 10am-2pm – Parent Carers of children 0-5 yrs

3rd Tuesday of the month 10am – 2pm – Parent Carers of children 5 – 12 yrs

4th Tuesday of the month 10am – 2pm – Parent Carers of children 12 – 18 yrs

Young Adult Carers Group

Date: 1st Thursday of the Month & 3rd Friday of the Month

Time: 6pm-8.30pm

Venue: The Cwtsh, Mansel Street, Swansea

Young Adult Carers can meet, socialise and get relevant advice and information.
