We have received funding via Active Inclusion to support economically inactive carers (25 years old and over) within the City and County of Swansea to engage with personal development activities via our LEAP Project.

What will be offered to carers?
Carers will be offered tailored and confidential support to help them gain new skills, build confidence, reduce social exclusion and to become closer to the world of work and if they are ready, supporting them to get a job that suits their caring role.

Carers will also have access to:
• Accredited Training e.g. First Aid, Moving People Safely, Food Safety
• Soft Skill Training e.g. Stress Control, Mindfulness, etc.
• Benefits Advice
• Support Groups
• Counselling

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be 25 or over, living in Swansea, not on Job Seekers Allowance but unemployed & be caring for a relative, friend or neighbour.
